Here at Driver Hire Southampton, we are currently recruiting for Class 1 drivers to fulfil a temp to perm position. Your role will be to collect Class 1 vehicles from clients to take in for MOT testing. You will be required to wash down the vehicles and return them after testing.

About this Class 1 Driving role:

  • 12 weeks temp to perm position
  • Monday to Friday
  • Start time 8:00am (8-10-hour day)
  • Collecting HGV Class 1 vehicles to be taken in for MOT
  • Cleaning and washing down the vehicles after their MOT
  • Filing paperwork correctly
  • Delivering the Class 1 vehicles back to the clients

What we require from you as a Class 1 Driver:

  • Full UK Class 1 driving licence
  • Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • 12 months Class 1 driving experience
  • Own transport to commute to and from work is essential
  • Great time keeping and communication skills
  • Follow the companies health and safety, policies and procedures
  • Provide high customer service levels
