Driver Hire Winchester are currently looking to recruit a Class 2 HIAB driver to work with our clients which specialise in the builder's merchant sector in the Hampshire area

About this Class 2 HIAB role:

  • Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
  • 7:00am start time
  • 8-10-hour days
  • Multidrop deliveries of builders merchant materials
  • Deliveries to residential areas and building sites in and around of the Southampton area
  • Completing paperwork correctly
  • Some manual handling and heavy lifting may be required

Requirements from a Class 2 HIAB Driver:

  • Full UK Class 2 licence
  • Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • HIAB brick grab ticket
  • 6 months experience driving Class 2 vehicles preferred, however newly qualified drivers are welcome
  • Previous multidrop experience beneficial
  • Own transport to commute to and from work
  • Excellent time keeping and communication skills
  • Great customer service
  • Follow company health and safety procedures
