Financial Controller

Our client, a venture capital backed Online Platform company is currently looking for a Financial Controller to join the growing team. The company started in 2013 and this is an excellent opportunity for a determined and driven qualified accountant looking to develop and grow with a business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the core finance team. This will include; month end management and statutory accounting, AP/AR and UK Tax Compliance. Moreover you will support the FD and cofounders on ad hoc projects to drive the business forward, for example investigating a new territory and preparing the company for any localised challenges they may face.

The ideal candidate is a practice trained qualified accountant with previous experience in a similar role in a fast paced environment. You will be commercially minded as well as technically strong and possess excellent leadership skills and be able to inspire and mentor those around you.
