VACANCY: MAINTENANCE ENGINEER – REPAIRING POWER TOOLS

LOCATION: SHEFFIELD S9, SOUTH YORKSHIRE

WORKING HOURS: MON - FRI 08:00 - 17:00

SALARY: £24000 - £28000

Our Client

Our client is a highly successful business based in Sheffield.

As part of this continued growth, they seek an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team on a permanent basis.

The role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with experience repairing a wide range of power tools.

Duties include:

  • Visually inspect and test tools and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and identify any malfunctioning or damaged parts.
  • Disassemble defective tools and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
  • Conduct PAT and vibration testing when required in line with customer requirements.
  • Order spare parts as required from suppliers.
  • Maintain record systems.
  • Maintain stock levels.

About you

Applicants MUST have an understanding of electrical tools and equipment. An electrical background essential as you will be working with high voltage tools.

Applicants must be MS Office proficient.

The successful candidate would be comfortable working in a small team and have customer service skills.
