SEO Manager:

Overall Purpose of the role:

The primary objective of the role is to increase organic search traffic.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop and implement the company wide SEO strategy
  • Proactively promote SEO best practice throughout the business
  • Work closely with our in-house teams and our PR agency to grow offsite SEO performance
  • Carry out competitor analysis, keyword research, content reviews and other associated research
  • Be hands-on with the implementation of onsite SEO tasks including designing information architecture, on-page optimisation, site audits, structured data implementation and so on.
  • Play an integral role in the development and execution of the content strategy
  • Define SEO KPI frameworks and reporting processes
  • Undertake ad hoc research/analysis/ troubleshooting when required by the business
  • Work closely with our inhouse development team to implement technical SEO improvements
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends across SEO and content marketing

Skills:

  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to prioritise tasks based on what is best for the business
  • Strong project management and time management skills to ensure projects are delivered in an efficient and timely manner
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects to ambitious deadlines
  • Excel as part of a team and an organisation which values collaboration
  • Ability to communicated technical SEO in a way that is easy to understand
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must
  • Creating reports in Excel, Google Sheets and Google Analytics
