Teaching Assistant - SEND

Teaching Assistants, Croydon

Empowering Learning Ltd are recruiting Teaching Assistants who are looking to work on a long-term full-time positions, in our Mainstream and SEND/SEMH Schools in Croydon. We have a high need of classroom support across age ranges, to start immediately depending on safeguarding checks.

We are seeking enthusiastic, proactive and hands on practitioners that can take direction, that have a dynamic approach and works effectively with both Mainstream students, and those with additional learning difficulties.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Recent classroom experience in a Primary, Secondary or Autism and SLD settings
• Experience supporting individuals in other sectors (Support Work, Care etc.)
• Passion and desire to work in either Mainstream or SEND learning environments
• Initiative, willingness and hands on approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Live within a fair commute to the school
