Central Recruitment are working with a textile manufacturing company in Leyland recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Administrator.

Reporting into the Transport Manager you will provide administrative support to the team.

Duties will include:

  • Speaking to customers on the phone and email
  • Updating customers on the progress of their orders
  • Keeping systems up to date
  • Liaising with Goods In and the warehouse
  • Collating information and generating reports for management meetings
  • Using all Microsoft packages inhouse warehouse management system and CRM
  • Providing administrative support to the Logistics and Transport Manager
  • Developing product knowledge
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Have a confident telephone manner
  • Ability to problem solve

Candidates applying for this position must have previous experience in a similar role. Administration in Logistics, Warehouse, Goods In/Out or General Manufacturing would be ideal.

The location is on all transport links from Preston, Leyland or Chorley, free parking, canteen facilities

There is an immediate start for the right candidate, it is initially temporary, but after 3 months will go permanent for the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Pay: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
