Job Title: Asbestos Consultant / Training / Auditor.
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £25k - £38k + Training + Benefits
Our client is an industry leading Asbestos Consultancy who work across the UK carrying out asbestos management services across the UK on Commercial and Industrial sites. They are now seeking an Asbestos Consultant / Training / Auditor in the Yorkshire / M1 region. You will be joining our clients longstanding team of employees, this role would suit someone who has hands on experience carrying out surveying and analytical duties and who is looking to build on their auditing and project management experience. You will be personable, able to provide support and consultancy advice to clients, alongside carrying out asbestos awareness training and non-licenced training. Covering Yorkshire / M1 and the surrounding areas: Bradford, Wakefield, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Worksop, Nottingham, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Matlock, Derby, Beeston, Coalville, Tamworth, Loughborough, Leicester, Market Harborough, Corby, Northampton.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold a combination of the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent qualifications.
" Will have experience working hands on for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Experience training staff to a high standard.
" Working in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248.
" Able to communicate with colleagues and clints of all levels.
" Confident in using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
The Role:
" Delivering asbestos awareness / non licenced training under the IAPT banner.
" Attending site and carrying out audits.
" Consulting management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys.
" 4 site clearances.
" Smoke, leak, background, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
" Ensuring work is being carried out in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" Aiding senior management and internal technical / quality team.
" Providing training to staff, new and existing.
" Carrying out site assessments.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice to clients, discussing scopes of work and specification.
" Ensuring work is being carried out in line with agreed timeframes.
" Writing comprehensive reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
