Sigma PlantFinder UK are industry leaders with over 45 years of experience specialising in the piling industry with a primary focus on relationships. They now have an exciting opportunity for a self-employed Chauffeur based in the Teesside area, preferably in or around Redcar, Middlesbrough or North Yorkshire area, to join their team.

Your New role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the chauffeur embodies professionalism, discretion, and exceptional service in every aspect of their role. By prioritising confidentiality, professionalism, and reliability, the chauffeur contributes to the CEO's efficiency and peace of mind, allowing them to focus on strategic priorities with confidence.

  • You must be flexible, with the ability to take on occasional shorter notice jobs by agreement
  • You will need to be available daily , pickup 0700 and 1700 to and from our flagship site based in Middlesbrough
  • Occasional UK wide overnights away, all accommodation and food provided, your paid time would stop once you have arrived at your accommodation
  • Occasional airport and station trips to Manchester, Newcastle, Teesside, Darlington etc
  • Occasional pre planned out of hours work for airport / station drop off / pick up
  • You must have experience in pre-planning trips, you need to know exactly where you are going
  • This is a professional most, not only must you be well presented at all times, but your vehicle must be pristine at all times
  • You need to be able to take your passenger into locations on arrival if needed and double up as a support worker.
  • Car wifi enabling you to work on other projects during downtime (e.g. during appointments and waiting time) if you are a freelance worker in another industry e.g. marketing, IT etc.
  • You must have a natural interest in cars, car maintenance, driving and travel. Being resourceful would be an advantage.

What you will need to succeed

You must be a proficient driver with a full UK driver’s license. Although a clean license is desirable this is not essential, providing you have NOT have a DR10 or any driving bans or disqualifications.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience would be desirable and long term commitment is essential for this role.

As this is a self-employed position, it will be your responsibility to pay tax and national insurance contributions.
