Commercial Finance Manager

Intro

Cedar is currently partnered with an international, well-established Media & Marketing conglomerate to support with the recruitment of a Commercial Finance Manager based in Central London. This is a 12-month contract role, to cover maternity and is paying £70,000.

With a plethora of household name clients, they are at the forefront of the industry. You will be working closely with the Commercial Director as part of a best-in-class finance team.

The Role

As Interim Commercial Finance Manager, you will:

• Hold ownership of the agency P&L working with a variety of business units.
• Support senior leadership with the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Provide variance analysis in collaboration with the reporting team, and conduct profitability analysis.
• Lead monthly revenue review meetings relevant stakeholders and business partners.
• Prepare the monthly management information pack to include P&L performance vs budget.
• Prepare new business proposals and assist with business case preparation.
• Support the preparation of documentation for financial compliance audits.

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

• A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA).
• Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills, to include the ability to influence non-finance teams. Proven capability within a business partnering / commercial finance role.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to present financial analysis into meaningful insight for non-finance teams.
• Previous experience within media is preferred but not essential.
• The salary of £70,000 per year represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
