I'm delighted to be partnered with a global Human Resources and Personnel in Eccles who are looking to add a credit controller to their growing finance function.

As the credit controller, you will be responsible for collecting from the businesses key accounts to ensure the smooth running of the function.

Your primary responsibility will be managing a varied portfolio of client accounts, focusing on the prompt and efficient collection of outstanding invoices. You will liaise with colleagues across the business to resolve invoicing queries and process self-billing invoices with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Achieve monthly cash collection targets through proactive credit control
  • Prioritise collection of debt by value and client payment profile
  • Maintain detailed records of account activity
  • Liaise with colleagues across the business to resolve invoicing queries
  • Process self-billing invoices to tight timescales ensuring attention to detail
  • Provide high-level professional service to clients in all interactions
  • Accurately forecast and allocate cash receipts
  • Ensure Head of Credit Control is immediately aware of any potential bad debt issues

What you bring:

The ideal Credit Controller candidate brings a wealth of experience from similar roles within large B2B organisations. You are no stranger to working towards targets and deadlines in fast-paced environments. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, complements your strong organisational skills. As an excellent communicator with effective negotiation skills, you're able to liaise at all levels and form meaningful relationships with clients. Your attention to detail is impeccable, and you have an innate ability to leave a positive impression of the business while ensuring cash collection.

  • Proven track record in a similar position within a large B2B organisation
  • Experience working to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Good all-round Microsoft Office experience including intermediate level Excel skills
  • High degree of organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and produce high-quality results within tight deadlines
  • Excellent communicator with effective negotiation skills who can liaise at all levels
  • Ability to form relationships with clients, leaving a positive impression of the business, whilst also ensuring cash collection
