Your new role.

You will be required to undertake Teaching Responsibilities in line with the school day and plan accordingly for your class (s) in line with curriculum expectations. You will need to make strong bonds quickly, and you must be able to engage students in a creative and initiative framework. Having good personal and professional standards is also required, alongside a willingness to engage with the school calendar as appropriate. You will need to be enthusiastic and energetic in connection with the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 framework. You will also be required to track and monitor progress as required by your new school. You will use a variety of assessment and behavioural frameworks to help maintain a safe and engaging environment within the school day. You will be paid to scale for teaching roles which have full responsibilities, but some short-term roles may not require full roles and responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed.

  • QTS or ECT status.
  • A working knowledge of either the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
  • A fun and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • Ability to develop good working practices with staff and students.
  • Be able to provide placement and university reference.
  • DBS on update service preferred.
  • Recent experience in a classroom-based environment within the last 2 years.
