Crem Recruitment has been appointed to recruit for a key business within the manufacturing industry to facilitate their busy operation.

Our client, who are a well-recognised manufacturing company is looking to recruit a Junior Accounts Assistant to work at their busy factory based in Haverhill.

Duties will include:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
  • Working with spreadsheets
  • Working with sales and purchase ledgers
  • Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment.
  • Assisting with preparation of the weekly payroll
  • Assisting with credit control
  • Managing petty cash
  • To attend studies whilst working

Hours and Pay:

  • 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • £20,000pa - £24,000pa DOE

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Currently studying AAT or looking to go to the next level of the qualification. Our client are open to assisting with the studies, alongside working.
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Good teamworking skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to work to monthly deadlines
