Key Account Manager - Supply Chain and Logistics - National - Up to £65,000 basic

Our client is on the lookout for an experienced KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER who has experience with Supply Chain, Logistics and Technology. They are a successful and rapidly growing, innovative business providing an unrivalled range of both Technology and Logistics solutions with an exceptional reputation within the industry.

Key Account Manager - The Rewards

Key Account Manager - Requirements

  • Proven track record within the 3PL/4PL Logistics sector in growing and maintaining Key Accounts
  • Strong background within Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, re-seller or 3PL/4PL Logistics
  • Strong knowledge of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Road Freight and Technology solutions
  • Proven track record of Strategic Account Management within Supply Chain, Technology and Logistics
  • Focussed, reliable and hardworking individual with a clear focus on building and strengthening
  • A real self-starter with lots of enthusiasm and a sense of individuality
  • Able to demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering great service

Key Account Manager - Responsibilities

  • Retention and development of relationships with Key / Strategic accounts across a range of sectors including Manufacturing, Distributors, Wholesalers and Retail
  • Building & maintaining a long-term relationship with customers, and maximizing potential new revenue streams.
  • Acting as the central contact for clients, field-based teams and Operations
  • Manage and control the individual Customer tariffs and respond to quotation requests immediately to support securing the business.
