This nationwide, multidisciplinary environmental, engineering consultancy are seeking a Lead Driller with extensive ground investigation experience to join a national team of geotechnical engineers and drillers on a variety of projects across the UK. The Lead Driller position is offering:

This Lead Driller selected will be:

• Working on a range of geotechnical drilling rigs.
• Depending on experience, leading a team and contributing to project development.
• Specialising in either cable percussion, window sampling and rotary drilling rigs.
• Manging onsite drilling operations, developing log sheets.
• At time, helping with soil sampling, in-situ testing, monitoring equipment, ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to.
• The supervision and training of more junior team members will also be required.

As a result, Lead Drillers considered must:

• Have experience working on cable percussion or rotary geotechnical drilling rigs.
• Have experience working on geotechnical and ground investigation projects.
• Be willing to travel for work around the country, staying away for periods of time and commute long distances.
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence and CSCS card.
