Manual Machinist

Manual Milling and general factory role to include de-burring and general finishing of parts and other machine operation, depending on your experience you may also be involved with other aspects of the wider factory with it range of CNC mills and lathes. This is an excellent stable job opportunity with some flexibility so it that can offer progression or even part time hours depending on your needs.

A key part of the role will be use of a manual mill to cut gears and similar, but you will also finish parts, de-burring to remove any imperfections using hand tools and support the friendly team with other duties depending on your skill set.

You will need an understand of engineering drawings, be used to working to high precision and have a positive "can do" attitude. We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship with good communication and teamwork skills. You should able to work independently with minimal supervision.
