My client is a leading Marketing Agency and is looking for a Strategic Marketing Manager to come on board and drive the department.

About you:

You’re eager to continue learning and developing, as well as helping support and grow the team and the services we offer.

You’ll demonstrate an ability to learn and understand what’s needed to drive success and revenue for clients, as well as bring ideas and plenty of energy. This role will involve scaling marketing channels, improving conversion rates, putting yourself as close as possible to client revenue streams, and nurturing outstanding relationships with clients and the team.

The role:

  • Strategic lead across the roster of digital marketing clients.
  • Nurturing and managing the digital marketing team, offering support & guidance.
  • Growing and evolving the digital marketing offering.
  • Working with clients to unlock success and grow their accounts.
  • Interpreting analytics and performance data to drive improvements in client accounts.
  • Working closely and collaboratively with the wider team particularly client services, our founder and digital director.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies across SEO, Google Ads, Social Media (organic & paid) & Email Marketing
  • Effective management of client budgets, time etc.
  • New business development liaison for all digital marketing clients
  • Development of all new business proposals for marketing clients
  • Point of contact regarding best practice across digital marketing services.
  • Management & delivery of all campaign activity.
  • Overseeing all marketing activity.
  • Attending marketing meetings to offer support to the marketing team, answering client queries & stepping in when needed.
  • Oversee monthly reporting and liaising with clients.
  • Overall management and responsibility for marketing clients.
  • Overseeing ROI for all clients.
  • Leading strategic brainstorms.

You must have:

  • At least 4 years’ experience at an agency or similar.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience across SEO, PPC, Social (Organic and Paid) and Email Marketing.
  • Proven record of delivering profitable revenue growth in previous roles.
  • Proficient user in Google business suite and social media platforms.
  • Excellent initiative, creative and ambitious, commercial common sense is absolutely essential.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • A passion for all things creative and able to work autonomously but also collaboratively too.
  • Lead the team and provide clear solutions for consideration.
  • The ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of your work.

Nice to have, but not essential:

  • Use of Adobe suite, Canva, and video editing.
  • Great analytical skills, ability to use data and metrics to evaluate outcomes
  • Understanding of web design and development, branding and print.
  • Experience of WordPress and Shopify.
  • Experience of Email marketing tools such as Mailchimp.
