Job Title: Seasonal Ecologist

Salary: £23,000 - £24,000 equiv.

Location: Manchester

If you're a Seasonal Ecologist looking for work around Manchester get in touch! We have a new opportunity with a leading engineering consultancy who would like seasonal support this year. This is an ideal opportunity for Ecologists who want to commit to field work for the next 6 months, and whether you have many years' experience or are earlier on in your career, we would love to hear from you.

As a Seasonal Ecologist your duties will be:

  • Providing ecological support to a varied range of projects across different sectors and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Planning and co-ordinating field surveys, analysing and interpreting survey results;
  • Undertaking field surveys and managing survey data;
  • Authoring ecological reports, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals;
  • Undertaking mapping using QGIS; and assisting with bid preparation and building client relationships.

To be considered as a Seasonal Ecologist you will need:

  • A degree in ecology, biology, zoology or closely related field
  • Experience in ecological consultancy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A full valid UK/EEC driving licence.
