Top ranking US Law Firm is seeking a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner for an initial 4 month fixed-term contract, to join their fast-paced London office and provide strategic Human Resources direction and coaching to Lawyers, Management and Business Services for London and their European offices:

The Senior Manager, HR Business Partner will proactively work alongside Office Managing Partners, Directors and client groups.

Senior Manager, HR Business Partner duties will include:

  • Performance Management - Manage the evaluation process in client groups
  • Employee Relations - Collaborate with Employee Relations team, the Firm’s General Counsel and external employment counsel to advise on complex ER issues from a local and firmwide perspective
  • Talent Management - Facilitate the development of the strategy and tactical plan for career development. 
  • Organisational Design, Development and Training - Provide expertise on organisational design and efficiency and assess needs to create solutions in collaboration with the Talent Development team.
  • European Offices - Counsel and coach on HR matters within the European offices as required. 

Senior Manager, HR Business Partnerdesired experience :

  • CIPD highly desirable
  • Degree education preferred in Human Resources or related field
  • 5 years+ HR management experience (ideally in a Law Firm) encompassing ER, performance management, recruitment, budgeting and reporting
  • Knowledge of HR Systems (e.g. Workday) and other office software
  • Proven experience of employment and project management skills
