Supplier Manager

An opportunity to join the Procurement and Contract Management team of this well-established and growing organisation. Working as part of an experienced and close-knit team with an empowering and supportive culture, this role offers hybrid working arrangements with the need to be in their Peterborough office 1 day per week.

This Supplier Manager role will take ownership of a key technology supplier and look to drive higher internal engagement levels and service outputs. Key areas of focus pertain to: ensuring the supplier delivers as required across service areas; analyse and own governance of the contract to ensure KPIs and SLAs are delivered; act as point of escalation for any service delivery failings and ensure remedies are put in place; drive positive supplier relationships and advocacy across the relevant internal stakeholder population; drive continuous improvement initiatives; and ensure the supplier contract continues to add value and be fit for purpose.

To succeed in this role, demonstrable experience of managing IT/Technology suppliers is essential with experience of operating in a vendor / supplier relationship / contract management capacity. Exposure to procurement and contract management would be beneficial but not essential. With a strong customer focus, you will have exceptional influencing and relationship building skills and the ability to adjust your style and approach to suit different situations. With highly developed communication skills, you will be comfortable working at all levels of an organisation with high levels of credibility.
