Hays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be supporting a Lowestoft charity who are looking for a temporary accounts clerk to help clear a backlog of invoices using Xero.

Your new role
In this temporary finance job, you will join the team and help process purchase ledger invoices, reconcile supplier statements, prepare payments and raise sales ledger invoices, as well allocate cash payments to accounts. You will also assist the Finance Manager with ad-hoc accounting tasks as the charity needs additional temporary support to clear a backlog of invoices.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be immediately available and able to commit to a 4-week+ temporary finance job in Lowestoft as this will be an office-based role. We expect you to have proven experience in invoice processing through to bookkeeping and reconciling.

What you'll get in return
As this will be a temporary finance job you will be paid an hourly rate based on a salary of circa £22,000 - £25,000, which will include your holiday pay.
