This role will be working as part of the Asset Management team and be working with depreciations and costings for the assets of the business. This role will also include the management of the costs for these goods, which will include tasks such as balance sheet recs, month end journal postings for depreciations and a range of other really exciting tasks which you just do not normally see within an entry level, graduate role.

This position has become available due to the previous person doing this role progressing up with the business into a Finance Analyst role, which just shows the progression opportunities within this business. Ideally for this role we are needing someone who is driven and motivated to learn as much as possible within finance. Someone who is also a great communicator who is happy to be liaising with a range of different departments within the business as this role will require constant communication within the wider finance team. Ideally this role is looking to begin quite quickly.

Skills required
  • Have a relevant qualification, such as a degree in Accounting and Finance or be AAT qualified, as this will give you the base knowledge to understand the tasks being asked of you.
  • Be strong on excel, as this role will require a large amount of intricate and complex reconciliations, we are needing someone who is confident with excel and potentially even familiar with V-Lookups.
  • Be a great communicator and someone who is eager to get involved, this role will require interaction with the wider finance team, so we are needing someone who is happy and confident when it comes to liaising with a large variety of people.
  • Ideally be on a short notice period, or ideally immediately available. However, this is not essential and we can potentially wait for the right person on a notice for this role.
What you will receive
  • Work for an exciting, globally known and growing business. Joining a business like this can set you up for life, the opportunities for progression are incredible and when you are ready for that next step there will be a variety of directions you can progress into.
  • Work for a business that offers flexible working, this business does not have set hours and is happy for candidates to chose their hours slightly, as long as they still work the core hours.
  • Work for an incredible manager who has great experience when it comes to training graduates, as well as being part of a great finance team who are supportive and encouraging of people starting out in the finance world.
  • Have the opportunity for a range of incredible benefits once this role converts to permanent, such as study support for ACCA or CIMA.
