Working at AQA Education

What we do

We set and mark around half of all GCSEs and A-levels taken in the UK every year. As an independent education charity, any money we make is reinvested back into AQA’s charitable activities. It also funds our cutting-edge research, which sits at the heart of our assessments and supports our initiatives to help young people facing challenges in life realise their potential.

We think AQA is a great place to work and we want to keep it that way. It’s important to us that all our people understand their roles and have the tools they need to do their job well - whether it’s their very first role or as a senior leader. So we’re always looking at ways to help people get the most out of their time with us. At the moment, we’re taking a look at our values so everyone can contribute to creating a culture that ensures our shared success.

We’ have a strong commitment to wellbeing – across our offices, there are a number of initiatives throughout the year including yoga, fruity Fridays and mindfulness events.

Working with us gives great insight into a professional working environment and helps to build your CV.

You’ll have the opportunity to develop key skills like communication, teamwork and problem solving that you can transfer into your next role – whether here or elsewhere.
