Hi when does the exam take place? Is it done online?

Hi Katie The exams take place in either June or November, you decide when you are ready. The online course is comprehensive and covers everything you need for your exam. The course is self paced, so it is advised to time your study to be ready for one of the exam dates previously mentioned. The exams are not online, they are sat at a local centre to you, these exams are still going ahead and the centres will reopen following lockdown ready for the June exams.

Hi Cindy Yes the exam fee is in addition to the course fee. The advert does state exam not included in the relevant section but it there is a lot of information. Any course and exam fee that is not over £200 will not include the Ofqual regulated exam, so be aware of courses at £15 selling CPD certificates, these will not be accepted by employers or Universities as a GCSE equivalent grade C/level 4. Hi Dilki For a teaching PGCE route we would recommend A Star Equivalency for the equivalent qualifications. For a teaching apprenticeship route then our functional skills qualifications would be better. The 'standard' routes with a PGCE need the A Star Equivalency qualifications. The exam is not included in the price, exam fees are typically £200-£300 for an Ofqual regulated GCSE exam and this is unavoidable as you have to go to a centre.
