In Module 01, An Introduction to Estate and Wills, learners will develop a basic understanding of Wills and Probate Law, including the legal requirements of creating a will, what happens to an estate when someone passes away, and how trusts and dispositions work. Module 02, Making a Will, will provide an in-depth understanding of the different types of wills and how to draft one. In Module 03, Trusts and Dispositions, learners will explore the different types of trusts and how to dispose of assets, including the importance of testamentary capacity.

Level 3:

Module 04, Intestacy, will provide an understanding of what happens when someone dies without a will. Module 05, Probate, will cover the legal processes of administering an estate, including the duties of an executor, legal requirements, and distribution of assets. In Module 06, Correcting Errors in a Will, learners will understand how to correct errors in a will, including clerical and substantive errors.
