3rd Line Support Engineer
Reading, Berkshire

3rd Line Support Engineer required by a fast-growing technology company servicing the public services sector and introducing next generation technology solutions to their already impressive client portfolio. The windows 3rd line support engineer will be adept and competent in the administration and support of 0365 and MS Azure, ideally with strong experience of Hyper-V and related MS virtualisation tech, though VMWare is also suitable as along as willing to focus more on MS moving forward.

A few details
As a Windows Support Engineer you will have a varied position and will utilise your existing skills while acquiring new skills and getting to play with next generation cutting edge technology. Some of your missions will include:

  • Working on greenfield in an experimental and bid capacity, utilising next generation / cutting-edge technologies
  • Utilising 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support including O365, A/D, GPO, virtualisation tech and cloud tech in both an internal and also external / customer perspective
  • Providing unrivalled customer service from both a hand-on and communicative perspective to ensure retainment of relationships and encourage new business

What you will need

  • Desire and motivation are great but you will also need
  • Up to 3rd line ms os and server support experience is essential, including strong O365, A/D and GPO administration skills
  • Ability to travel to a client site approx. 3 times per year for 2 days at a time, if required (this will be paid for so not an expense to you)
  • Due to the nature of this role we do require a British passport holder, and a willingness to undergo security clearance to SC level and above
