Account Manager - MOD (Ministry of Defence)

Based in Hampshire

£45000-£55000 + Car Allowance £5K + Commission

Leading IT Services consultancy with over 35 years in the industry is expanding their sales team and are currently looking for a IT Account Manager with SC (Security Clearance) and experience selling IT technology into the MOD.

The Account Manager will sell into existing customers but will also be required to bring in new business opportunities from framework agreements.

Experience summary

  • 5+ years' experience selling IT solutions into the MOD
  • Knowledge of the IT Services sector preferred, with specific knowledge selling cyber technology beneficial.
  • Knowledge of framework agreements with a sound understanding of business strategy to maximise results and growth expectations.
  • Full Driving License

Candidates who have a military background and selling IT technology would also be considered as specific training is provided. This Account Manager role would suit someone who is looking to move into management in the next 5 years (or sooner) and demonstrates a pro-active can-do attitude.
