Accounts Senior

Accounts Senior required. My client is a well-established accountancy practice based in Bradford, who are seeking a talented accounts senior to join their friendly and welcoming team.

As an Accounts Senior, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for our clients, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supporting our clients in managing their finances effectively.

• Prepare and file VAT returns with minimum supervision
• Prepare and review bookkeeping
• Post monthly journals
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data by cross-checking transactions
• Maintain regular communication with clients to address their financial queries, provide updates on their financial status, and offer guidance on financial matters

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and be AAT qualified/part-qualified.

• AAT qualified/part-qualified
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
• Previous experience with preparing and filing VAT returns
• Competent using MS systems - Word, Excel etc
• Previous Xero experience and various other cloud-based accountancy software's

• £23,660 basic salary
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays
