Accounts Senior

Due to continued growth, we have been instructed on an Accounts Senior or Client Manager opportunity on behalf of a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Stoke-on-Trent.

The role would suit an PQ or recently qualified (MAAT also considered) individual working in accountancy practice seeking career progression, a supportive environment and an excellent work life balance.

You will be working with a varied and interesting portfolio of clients from an array of sectors with a focus on SMEs and OMBs.

There will be exciting opportunities to progress through the ranks to Senior Manager/ Director for the right individual.

The Role:

Managing a client portfolio
Preparation of statutory accounts under FRS102
Corporate tax computations
Management accounts preparation
Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
Assisting with other ad hoc assignments
Advising/ training clients on accountancy software
Attending client meetings
Business development

You:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified
PQ/ MAAT also considered
Experience of managing a client portfolio
Excellent working knowledge of FRS102
A strong background in accountancy practice
Good communication skills
