Are you looking for a new algorithm focused role based in Hampshire?

This innovative market leading company is seeking an Algorithm Engineer - Matlab to work at their centre of excellence in the Hampshire area to develop and innovate cutting edge technology.

The Algorithm Engineer - Matlab will be responsible for designing and developing algorithms and software for our various touch sensor products. The role will include the opportunity to work on a wide variety of engineering problems within the capacitive sensing field and to partner with IC, system, and application teams to develop and support products.

Ideal candidates for the Algorithm Engineer - Matlab will have:

  • BSc or BEng in one of the following - Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Software Engineering (or a similar relevant subject)
  • Experience of a high-level language like MATLAB; Python; LabVIEW
  • Experience of firmware and software development in C
  • Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
  • Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and image processing theories would be beneficial
