About the Role

You are required to sell and promote CTD Group products within the Retail Distribution Sector. You will be responsible for developing all business opportunities on patch which should include but not be limited to: tile retailers; kitchen & bathroom specialists; distributors, buying groups and builder's merchants. 

Key Responsibilities:

As our Area Sales Manager, you'll spearhead the growth of our business by:

• Achieving and surpassing sales targets, driving profitable growth
• Identifying key decision-makers and cultivating strategic B2B relationships
• Gaining deep insights into customer needs and tailoring solutions accordingly
• Delivering compelling product presentations with finesse and professionalism
• Following up on leads diligently, ensuring a robust sales pipeline
• Providing localized technical support, establishing yourself as a trusted resource
• Securing lucrative fixed setting opportunities from retailers to solidify our partnerships
• Maintaining up-to-date pricing information and communication channels with the sales office
• Utilizing our Business Intelligence system to prepare for customer meetings effectively
• Ensuring meticulous daily updates on our CRM system
• Collaborating seamlessly with internal sales support functions for enhanced efficiency
• Monitoring performance, identifying areas for improvement, and taking proactive measures

• Proficient in delivering high-quality presentations
• Previous experience in Area Sales, preferably within Retail Distribution or Home Improvement sectors
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Comfortable using an iPad for product presentations and leveraging Business Intelligence tools
• Excellent time management abilities
• Sound understanding of financial principles, including Gross Margin
• Commercially savvy with adept negotiation skills
• Ability to manage pricing strategies effectively
• Strong numerical aptitude for budgeting, reporting, and analysis
