At Tradewind we are currently recruiting for ASD focus support assistants, to work in mainstream primary school. We have jobs available for both full time and part time for September 2024.

The schools we are working with at Tradewind are looking for experienced, energetic and reliable staff. It is not essential that you have school base experience. This opportunity could be great for someone with a keen interest in children's SEN, child's development, psychology, or a nursing background.

  • School experience is not required to be successful in these roles

In your role, you will be expected to provide general support within the classes and work collaboratively with other LSAs and the class teachers. In addition, you will be required to support pupils throughout the school day, support pupils across the specialist provision and incorporate the use of senses into learning.

Long-term roles available

  • Full-time positions (Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm)
  • Required to commit to the school on a long-term basis
  • Interested in securing a permanent role

Short-term roles available

  • Part-time and/or full-time positions (Varied/ ad-hoc days - 8.30am-1.00pm/ 12.00pm- 3.30pm/ 8.30am-3.30pm)
  • Would be covering emergency/ scheduled absences
