We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Central Cambridge who are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on a 6-month contract. The role will be full-time, and our client is able to offer a hybrid working model. To be successful, you will experience in a similar, and experience within a not-for-profit organisation would be advantageous.

Typical duties include:

- Producing monthly reports

- Processing balance sheet reconciliations

- Supporting audit processes and liaising with external auditors where necessary

- Assisting with year-end accounts and preparing statutory accounts

- Reviewing cash flow forecasts and providing financial insight when required

- Ensuring records are maintained and updated accurately

- Assisting with any ad-hoc duties to support the wider finance team

You will have:

- Minimum AAT Level 4

- Ability to manage your own workload effectively

- Excellent communication, and the ability to liaise with colleagues to support the wider finance function

- Strong technical skillset
