I am working with a Property/Construction company looking to hire an Assistant Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone studying their ACCA/CIMA.

�? Hybrid: 3 days in 2 from home
?? Salary: Up to £35,000
?? Location: City of London

What can you expect?

  • Processing purchase invoices via the order system.
  • Executing monthly payment runs (BACS, CHAPS, Euro, etc.)
  • Conducting monthly bank reconciliations in various currencies.
  • Timely issuance of sales invoices, both external and intra-group.
  • Posting and reconciling inter-group trading transactions monthly.
  • Maintaining PL reconciliation sheets for group/project companies daily.
  • Assisting in quarterly VAT return estimations.
  • Contributing to quarterly and year-end budgeting and forecasting.
  • Engaging in the year-end closing process.
  • Generating ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.
  • Supporting Project Accountants/Finance Managers in quarter-end closing activities (accruals, prepayments, etc.)
  • Aiding in the preparation of board reports and model updates.
  • Investigating and resolving internal or external inquiries.

What can you bring?

  • Actively studying and in the early stage of ACCA/CIMA.
  • Experience within a Construction/ Property industry.
  • Able to work effectively within a team.
  • Good communication skills both written and oral.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritise.
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver to agreed deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience in Infor SunSystems preferred.
