Homewares / Seasonal / Textiles

Salary dependent upon experience

Due to their ever-expanding growth our client, a supplier to the retail industry is now keen to speak to candidates with experience in the following categories:

  • Homewares
  • Seasonal
  • Textiles

Candidates will ideally come from a supplier background and will be creative and want to get involved in product development.

The right candidate will develop within the category and will find the opportunity of career development, overseas travel and product development / sourcing.

Duties include:

  • Calculate landed costs and compare pricing and product from multiple suppliers to establish the best option.
  • Raise and manage Purchase Orders whilst liaising with overseas offices.
  • Producing ad hoc reports and gathering information as instructed by the Buyer.
  • Review and maintain the Critical Path whilst updating the in-house system accordingly.
  • Managing Sample process, involving requesting, reviewing, and managing all samples for the category.
  • Ensure the Pricing process is completed efficiently and accurately on behalf of the Buyer.
  • Carry out the accurate filing and maintenance of all required records in line with company procedures.
  • Showroom maintenance, helping to keep the showroom up to a high standard.
  • Packaging development, overseeing the packaging process and issues design briefs
  • Attend and take comprehensive and detailed meeting notes and actions.
