Position: Assistant Site Manager
Location: Irlam, Salford
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £13 to £15 per hour

A Prep School in Irlam, Salford are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join their team ASAP. You will be required to work between the hours of 3:15pm - 7:15pm to support with the lock up of the school. Previous School Caretaking experience is not essential but ideally you will have worked as a site manager or similar previously.

Role Overview: As an Assistant Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the school premises. Your duties will include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the school buildings and grounds.
  • Conducting routine inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Ensuring the safety and security of the premises, including locking buildings as required.
  • Responding promptly to any emergencies or health and safety concerns.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous experience in a caretaker or facilities management role
  • Strong practical skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • A commitment to upholding the values and ethos of our school community.
