Company Overview

My client is a progressive and innovative consultancy which welcomes and embraces new ideas. They have recently merged with a large European construction consultancy, which is further propelling their expansion. The new, extensive financial input will enable the two businesses to integrate their service lines and sector expertise through synergies, but also their disciplines in energy efficiency, the road to zero carbon, sustainable building, modular building and smart buildings.

The Career Opportunity

They are looking for a motivated and experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor or an Associate Director to join their team in London and support their existing high profile projects, as well as their significant pipeline of future opportunities. The role involves delivering all aspects of Quantity Surveying consultancy services, from inception to completion. Within the role you will be working on a variety of projects in a wide range of commercial, residential, education and public sectors.

They are looking for an individual who can deliver the highest possible quality of consultancy service to their clients, and who is keen to develop and enhance client relationships to secure repeat business opportunities while leading the team.

The Candidate

You will have a professional and positive approach with the ability to work as part of a team as well as being self-motivated and proactive in using your initiative. The ability to build strong relationships and communicate at all levels with all stakeholders is essential, coupled with the ability to coach and mentor members of the team. Having a flexible attitude to work as well as being able to work under pressure and achieve targets, all while providing a high-quality client service whilst contributing and upholding the reputation of the organisation.

You will be RICS chartered and be able to demonstrate a track record of successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate;

  • Strong Quantity Surveying consultancy experience at Senior/Associate level
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
