Auto Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to join a busy team Automotive team.

You will be working for a well-established business where you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment on newly built commercial vehicles.

Job description

  • £14 to £15.50 per hour

Days Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and 8am to 2pm Friday - overtime available

Experience in fitting electrics and various parts to vans and commercial vehicles.

Garage / electrical mechanics experience accepted for the role.

Experience required for an Auto Electrician

  • Reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams
  • Running looms
  • Modifying electrical circuits Loom building and installation
  • Commercial vehicle /Truck van /Wagon /Tail
  • Removing, fitting, and upgrading interior and exterior parts
  • 12volts auxiliary systems - including split charge, battery guards 110 volts and 240volts inverters
  • Installing Beacons, Invertors, Hand washers.
  • Electrically qualified City and Guilds or NVQ's required
