The role can be home based with occasional travel to the London office.

My global client is looking to recruit an experience BI manager, the role will be a varied role which will require experience within BI (Azure, Powerbi) and experience managing a BI focused team.

The role

Manage engagement, planning and delivery of a portfolio of Agile BI services including BI Roadmap definition, prioritisation, development, testing, deployment and adoption.

This position provides leadership in:

• Identifying, analysing and defining BI requirements and solutions.
• Design, development, adoption and regular production of BI reporting solutions.
• Value adding BI service delivery including Planning and Data Science.
• To meet operational challenges and transformation opportunities through effective engagement with business leaders and colleagues within the BI team.

What the role will entail:

Business Partnering

• Create effective stakeholder relationships and develop an outstanding customer experience both internally and externally.
• Support strategic planning and identification of requirements for current and future BI products and services.
• As an SME you will oversee the management of business requirements and translation to a BI project definition through to user acceptance testing and sign off.

BI Delivery

• Oversee the Agile delivery for a portfolio of Production, Ad-hoc and Project BI Services supported by a BI Delivery Lead.
• Work closely with BI Delivery Leads to meet business requirements and priorities.
• Work with data and technical leads to provide effective BI solutions.
• Work with BI customers to balance priorities and delivery of BI services within agreed Service Levels.

Skills sought:

• 5+ years BI experience with 2+ years in management of data, reporting and insight.
• Track record delivering strategic BI solutions including cloud migration and integration of new operational systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of BI services and solutions including Azure BI platforms, SQL and a reporting platform such as Power BI.
• Excellent collaborator, bringing together teams internally and externally to deliver projects
• The ability to clearly articulate complex technical solutions to non-specialist audiences
• Experience of creating and giving presentations to a varied group of internal and external stakeholders
