This role requires a proficient Bid Writer who can effectively manage and prepare winning bids within the welfare for work industry. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Bid Writer / Manager with some team leadership experience.

Our client is a prominent player within the Welfare for Work and community services industry. They operate nationally, serving a broad clientele base across various sectors.

Description

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the bid writing process.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of standard responses to common questions.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the business to source information for bids.
  • Write, review, and edit bid responses to ensure they are fully compliant and meet the client's requirements.
  • Provide input into bid strategy and attend bid strategy meetings.
  • Prepare and present bid debriefs to the wider business.
  • Continuously improve the bid process and documentation.
  • Monitor bid outcomes and feedback to improve future bid success.

Profile

A successful Bid Writer/Manager should have:

  • 3+ years proven experience in bid writing and management.
  • Experience within the Welfare for Work industry, or a background in Public Sector organisations would be preferable.
  • Team leadership and management experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing bid strategies.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Offer

  • A starting salary of £35,000 - £40,000. OTE £40K - £50K
