Business Development Manager - Muck Away and Aggregates Industry

£40,000 - £45,000 + Excellent Commission and Car allowance

Remote / Field-based

Join a dynamic and rapidly growing company at the forefront of the muck away and aggregates industry. Our client specialises in providing comprehensive solutions for waste removal, recycling, and aggregates supply to construction, infrastructure, and environmental projects. 

Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking a results-driven and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our client's team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the muck away and aggregates sector, with a deep understanding of the industry landscape, customer needs, and market trends.

The BDM will play a crucial role in driving business growth, expanding our client base, and fostering strategic partnerships.

Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the muck away and aggregates industry.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their requirements and delivering tailored solutions.
  3. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximise profitability.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  5. Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and presentations to clients, demonstrating the value proposition of our services.
  6. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

Skills & Experience:

  1. Proven track record of success in sales or business development within the muck away and aggregates industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of waste management, recycling processes, and aggregates supply chain.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  5. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
