Business Relationship Manager, Accountancy Audit, Compliance, L&D, Mainly Remote, 12 month FTC

Business Relationship Manager / Audit Learning & Development Manager required to work for a Professional Services company based in Central London. However, this role will mainly be remote and you would only have to travel to the London office from time to time. This is a 12 month FTC this could develop into a permanent role.

This is within the Audit space of this particular firm where you will be working almost as a Business Relationship Manager (more on the business side) between Learning & Development and Audit. Audit experience / knowledge is not essential but is preferable. Alternative to Audit, we could look at heavy regulatory backgrounds like other areas in Accountancy (Taxation etc), Banking & Finance, Legal / Law, Insurance etc. Any form of Business Relationship Management could be considered, providing you are solid within Stakeholder Management and are prepared to learn!

As part of their Audit stream, you will receive the support you need to reach your potential. From completing professional qualifications to developing new skills and exploring different learning opportunities, you would be joining a friendly and diverse team whose work really matters.

We need a good, strong character who can build trusting relationships with key stakeholders in the business and really help to drive new ideas forward.

Experience required:

  • Experienced Manager (or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of Audit including the regulatory environment
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, build consensus and drive forward strategic projects in partnership with the Audit Stream
  • Strong project management skills including a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver these to time and expected quality standards
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to problems and generate commercially viable solutions
  • Strong teamworking and collaboration skills alongside an ability to coach, develop and inspire people to reach their potential
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of business strategy and goals and a focus on delivering effectively against these
  • Focus on operational excellence, quality and outputs
