Due to their faultless service they have gone from strength to strength building a remarkable pipeline of works. As they aim to substantially boost turnover in the coming years, their focus lies on expanding work within their existing client base and exploring new opportunities, including ventures into areas such as sports pitches To assist with this they're looking for a Buyer to support their procurement team.

This is a great opportunity for a Construction Buyer who is looking for the opportunity to work on high value groundworks and civils projects whilst technically progressing your career and becoming an expert in the industry.

Based in the Nottingham office with periodic travel to sites around the East Midland, you'll collaborate closely with the Commercial, Construction to ensure the smooth delivery of material to site. You responsibilities will include negotiating favourable supplier rates, obtaining material costs for tenders, allocating suitable suppliers, creating purchase orders and assistant Site Managers with material call offs.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated Buyer, with a few years' experience on groundwork and civil engineering projects within the residential sector looking to progress their career and develop their skillset in interesting projects.

The Role:

• Buyer
• Office based in Nottingham
• Groundwork and Civil Engineering projects in the residential sector
• Working on a variety of projects up to £30M
• Sociable work environment with a dynamic team.

The Person:

• Buyer experience in the Groundworks and Civil Engineering industry.
• Good understanding of Material Buying practices.
• Good attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Motivated candidate looking to play a key part in a close-knit company.
