Job Title: Car/Van Driver

Location: Basildon

Type of contract: Temporary

Salary: £12.00- £12.50 per hour

Workchain is currently recruiting for a Car/Van Driver to work on a temporary basis in Basildon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company in the driving industry. If you are enthusiastic, reliable and have a passion for driving, then we want to hear from you.

This opportunity can involve heavy lifting, the right candidate will be delivering flat pack furniture and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver goods and packages safely and efficiently to various locations
- Collect and return items to designated locations
- Follow a set route plan and ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure that all paperwork and documentation is accurate and up to date
- Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle at all times
- Take responsibility for loading and unloading the vehicle
- Liaise with clients and customers in a polite and professional manner

Qualifications:

- Full UK driving license with no points
- At least 2 years' experience driving within the UK
- Good knowledge of the UK road network
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work on own initiative
