Carbon Policy & Regulatory Intelligence Manager

London / Hybrid

Do you have a strong background in carbon policy and regulatory intelligence to stop into a manager position?

As a Carbon Policy and Regulatory Intelligence Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy and sustainability at a leading global energy advisory firm. Working in a hybrid environment, you'll be based in their London office and collaborate closely with colleagues across the globe to empower large corporate, industrial, and institutional clients navigate the complex and ever-evolving landscape of energy transition.

This role would involve assessing the implications of energy and carbon policies in Europe for our clients while also managing a team of analysts and experts responsible for providing comprehensive energy and carbon policy insights. Lead policy-related client engagements, advising clients on the risks and opportunities arising from energy transition and develop and maintain a deep understanding of global energy and carbon policy developments.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience within energy and sustainability markets, with a strong understanding of carbon markets and policies
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex policy insights into clear and actionable recommendations
  • Experience leading and motivating teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in one or more European languages is highly desirable
  • A background in coaching and management, political science, or governance would be advantageous

Desired Background

  • Experience in the energy industry, with a focus on sustainability and carbon markets
  • A deep understanding of global energy and carbon policy developments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Fluency in multiple languages, including at least one European language
