Job Title: Chartered Quantity Surveyor MRICS
Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom
Salary: £55,000-£65,000
Position Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects by ensuring accurate cost management, contract administration, and financial control. You will be part of a collaborative team working on diverse and exciting projects that contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting cost estimates and preparing tender documents
- Managing and reviewing project budgets
- Evaluating and negotiating subcontractor agreements
- Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders
- Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process.
- Producing financial reports and forecasts
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in relevant software and tools
Salary Range: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
