A growing business is seeking skilled and passionate Chefs! You will be responsible for the kitchen operations, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality culinary experiences for our guests. Along with a salary of £14.50 - £16.50 per hour (depending on experience) you will also receive a fair share of tips and career progression opportunities.

This will be a fast-paced role at peak times, you must be able to consistently put out high quality food under pressure, as well as being friendly, punctual, and have pride in what you do.

If you have a strong background in food safety, kitchen management, and a passion for creating delicious dishes, we would love to hear from you.

As a Chef, your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensuring all food preparation meets food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborating with the team to create new menu items and specials.
  • Training and supervising kitchen staff in proper food handling techniques.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
  • Monitoring food costs and working within budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of food orders to customers.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Desired skills we’re looking for in a Chef:
  • Passion for food, hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • An interest and desire of learn all about Caribbean cuisine.
  • A proven ability to manage a team and lead by example
  • A team player but can also work autonomously when required
  • The ability to work to provided food specs
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Experience in kitchen management and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

The restaurant is open 7 days per week, 12:00-22:00.
