37 hours per week – Temporary Ongoing

Kerry Collins are excited to be recruiting for a Vehicle MOT Tester working on a Temporary ongoing basis for our client based across 2 locations in Bromsgrove to start immediately.

The successful candidate will be based in Bromsgrove Central and will also support another Depot at Crossgate for MOT & Taxi testing to support and fill in for the full-time tester when not available.

As an MOT & Taxi tester, you will undertake the MOT Inspections of the clients light Fleet of vehicles as well as carrying out Taxi MOT and 6 monthly and annual Inspections, with some additional accident damage to Taxi and Fleet vehicles when required.

You will be expected to maintain and manage the MOT Diary daily to meet all the booked appointments as necessary and to report any customers or vehicles to management immediately that have not turned up for their appointment or have any major concerns or are refused from testing.

The successful candidate must have experience of working in a fleet workshop and have the following:

  • minimum of 5 years MOT Testing experience
  • Experienced DVSA nominated tester class 4 (5&7 is highly desirable but not essential).
  • Taxi Testing Inc 6 monthly & Annual Inspections + Accident damage Inspections desirable.
  • Managing an MOT daily Diary Calander so that every booked appointment is completed & confirmed.
