I am working on behalf of a 48 bedded Nursing and Residential home who are in need of a Clinical Manager to oversee the nursing unit and work alongside the general manager. The home is ‘Good’ with CQC and running at 97% occupancy.  

Key Responsibilities of a Clinical Manager:

  • Overall running of the Nursing unit including standards and quality of care.
  • Regularly assess resident’s needs and develop services to reflect this.
  • Create and develop care plans for residents.
  • Establish and maintain communication with clients, relatives, and staff
  • Staff appraisals, meetings and disciplinaries.
  • Liaise with outside Healthcare professionals regarding care.
  • Ensuring company policies are followed and adhered to.
  • Ensuring medication is effective and compliant.

Clinical Manager Requirements:
  • Hold a active Nursing pin.
  • Leadership or manager qualities
  • Leadership or manager qualifications
  • Have previous experience in a nursing home
  • Have strong clinical experience and medication knowledge
  • Good Care Planning skills
  • Ability to manage teams, improve services, quality, and performance
  • Organisation skills
