Metalisare currently working with a precision manufacturing company, who produce high quality and complex products who are looking for a CNC Machinist.
General Description of the role:
Located in the Machine shop department the CNC Machinist will be responsible increasing the production of parts throughout the machine shop.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Be highly involved in contributing to the entire manufacturing process, from completion through to delivery.
* Programming, setting and operating CNC machining centres
* Producing complex components according to requirements
* Working and measuring to very tight tolerances
* Working from and understanding engineering drawings and computer generates models
* Ability to apply knowledge of materials and machining methods
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and plan workload effectively to achieve targets
* Prove out and editing of CNC Programmes
Key skills requirements:
* Apprenticeship trained engineer
* Good understanding of engineering drawings and geometrical tolerances
* Good communication skills
